Hay fever season has begun!

Woo, so this Claritin stuff is supposed to be non-sedating, but I’m feeling loopy and my mouth is dry. Common and listed side-effects, too. This is all because I’m taking non-prescription antihistamines instead of the prescriptions stuff I prefer. I’d have to get an appointment with my doctor to get the Allegra or whatever it’s called and I have trouble scheduling an oil change. I don’t know what I’d have to do to see that guy.

Looks like Apple has released software to let you boot WinXP on my beeyooteeful MacBook Pro. Even my boss was telling me he thought it was a bad idea. When I thought about it, I realized that the only reason I ever boot up into Windows is to update Windows and the virus checker. Why would I need to do that on my Mac? Well, maybe I could use it to destroy my cell phone, but that seems silly as well. I think I’ll leave my Mac a Mac for now.

I wonder if the “I love Nerds” girl at the gym will be impressed with a photocopy of my MIT diploma. She’ll probably tell me she meant Nerds the candy rather than nerdy guys. I guess I’ll never know.

  1. here in the UK, my friend got drowsy with taking clarytin – he had long hair also at the time and alot of people acused him of being on drugs or something, particularly with the whole red-puffy-eyes that hayfever brings! lovely isnt it?! I take something called Benadryl, contians Acrivastine and it’s the only thing that works..

PS – i found you from your sisters’ blog, i hope you dont mind! I’m not a doctor or um anything, after my prescription-like post!

  2. My husband uses natural remedies for his hay fever. It worked perfectly !
No side-effects and very safe. I can’t believe it’s hay fever season down here ( AZ) now , becasue he is really fine . But most of the herbs information we got from herb books and herbal store website didn’t help his hay fever. If you are interested in how he cured his hay fever,
    you can check it here

  3. I know that feeling of your nose being all blocked and eyes itchy, and your head being just like a block of snot.
I also hate antihistamines. Yes, it is easier to fall asleep at night, but when you wake in the morning, it is like you haven’t gone to sleep at all.
I’m seriously considering acupuncture? Any opinions? This website http://vitalis.co.nz/hayfever.html claims that acupuncture is better than drugs… We shall see! 🙂
