My wonderful life.

It was one of those days at work. I thought I was doing everything right but apparently there are sides being taken on a particular issue and I picked the side that got me yelled at. I know the customer needs to come first, but they also need to know that we’re not going to wipe their ass for them. I guess I’m wrong there, though and I am going to do whatever they want. Or something close. I’m really foolishly stubborn about avoiding work that I think is stupid.

Well, I suppose there is a bright spot to the day. I did end up paying my property tax bill. It only took 3 calls to the credit union and five guesses at my username and password at the tax web site. My life is so exciting. I bet everyone is jealous.

  1. In a service oriented industry that you are in-service equates to kiss-ass. Granted some customers are just prissy-no matter how effective you are to them. The ordeal really is to change your frame of mind. Think about clocking in to work and clocking-out not to work, and don’t take work personally.

Put it this way-if you get yelled at this time, next time it’s somebody’s turn. There is always a sacrificial lamb.

Property taxes are due in December? What’s the rush in paying? How many pints of blood did you end up selling to avoid property tax penalties?

  2. Actually I am a little jealous. You managed to get your username and password? Kudos, there are some online accounts I have that are still closed to me.
