“You’re probably going to be sore tomorrow.”

Met with a trainer today. When I got to the gym, he’d forgotten and had already left. No biggie, since it didn’t take very long to come back. In any case, he showed me some exercises that were very simple but very difficult. Ever tried pushups with your toes on an exercise ball?

In any case, holding my arms high enough to type on the keyboard is making them very tired. I think he also said, “You have anything against Advil? You may need Advil tomorrow.”

  1. it gets better the more you work out. And the pushups get easier the more you do. I do my situps on the exercise bal every morning. I do regular crunchs and what is known as a bridge crunch which is harder and I do about 30 of each plus 15-20 push ups on the ball daily. Just work your way up 1 more each day.The pay off is worth it. I have a friend who likes to brag that she does 30 or 40 push ups every day. But when she tries to do them on the exercise ball, she quits after 1 or 2 because they are too hard. The push ups on the ball work out more of your body.

  2. pushups are ridiculous no matter how you do them. but i agree they are even harder on the ball. exercise kills.
