The owner of Pacific Crest Crossfit actually uses all his Crossfit training to add to the programming he does. No matter what it is, I\u2019m still doing less than everyone else and it\u2019s still kicking my ass.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ve also decided to counteract all the exercise with beer. There\u2019s a couple of interesting places very close by, <a href=\"http:\/\/exnovobrew.com\">Ex Novo<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/labrewatory.com\">Labrewatory<\/a>. Labrewatory is unique as it is an experimental brewery where Portland Kettleworks sets up brewing equipment that they\u2019ve made for their customers, and the customers come in and learn how to use it all. They have a Mexican Chocolate Stout, and an Almond Roca Stout. And even thought there\u2019s more food at Ex Novo, Labrewatory has <a href=\"http:\/\/tamaleboy.com\">Tamale Boy<\/a> tamales.<\/p>\n<p>Even more interesting, Labrewatory has Japanese customers and I\u2019ve met several of them. Last Friday was <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kamikatz.jp\">Rise and Win Brewing<\/a>\u00a0(even had dinner with those guys) and tonight I met Porltand Blogger <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/oshuushu\">Red Gillen<\/a> (who blogs in Japanese) and a kid named <a href=\"http:\/\/soyamax.jimdo.com\/proflie\/\">Max<\/a>.
