Actually, I think I call them ma and pa in front of my sister. Either that or mommy and daddy or Okaasan and George. I dunno. It&#8217;s my mom&#8217;s 75th birthday, though. She was upset that no one wished her a Happy Birthday. I&#8217;m guessing my sister called after the complaining was over, and her co-workers are kind of oblivious. She also has a friend who would complain for weeks if you forgot her birthday, but the friend never remembers my mom&#8217;s birthday.<\/p>\n<p>Which reminds me, I haven&#8217;t bought my mom her present yet. (Scratch lottery tickets. She loves &#8217;em.)<\/p>\n<p>At least it&#8217;s not like my friend Greg, who I have to chase down on his birthday.
