OK, so I only refer to her as “ma” in print, but this is close to print. Actually, I think I call them ma and pa in front of my sister. Either that or mommy and daddy or Okaasan and George. I dunno. It’s my mom’s 75th birthday, though. She was upset that no one wished her a Happy Birthday. I’m guessing my sister called after the complaining was over, and her co-workers are kind of oblivious. She also has a friend who would complain for weeks if you forgot her birthday, but the friend never remembers my mom’s birthday.<\/p>\n
