So after talking up the burger at Meriwethers, I took a group there for burger club. Turns out that, like Wildwood, the chef didn’t seem to like eight burger orders coming in at once and it wasn’t as good as the last time I was there. The meat was tough (but tasty) and the bun was toasted until it was burnt and that meant sharp shards cutting up my mouth. It wasn’t bad, but there’s a certain expectation when a burger is $14 and the most expensive place on the burger club rotation.<\/p>\n
