Ick. It&#8217;s supposed to stay that way all week. It was 102&deg;F today and is supposed to be 104&deg;F and 105&deg;F the next couple of days. This isn&#8217;t the sort of thing an Oregonian can put up with. I should move to San Francisco, where it&#8217;s only supposed to be 67&deg;F tomorrow.<\/p>\n<p>Jay the Contractor showed up today and tore apart the bedroom that&#8217;s still being worked on. I&#8217;m not sure what I expected, but this really wasn&#8217;t it. Not that I mind, since they need access to the space between the ceiling and the roof so they can spray in the Icynene insulation, but it was a surprise.
