It wasn\u2019t bad.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\" title=\"IMG_1554.jpeg\" src=\"https:\/\/www.i8u.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/IIMG_1554.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" border=\"0\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Then I took a electric train to an electric train, then the shinkansen, then the Yamanote line, then the Tokyo Monorail. Then it was a Delta flight to Seatac and then to Portland where I Ubered home.<\/p>\n<p>I wasn\u2019t really that hungry so I got a couple snacks at the Delta lounge.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\" title=\"IMG_1555.jpeg\" src=\"https:\/\/www.i8u.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/IIMG_1555.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"600\" border=\"0\"\/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\" title=\"IMG_1556.jpeg\" src=\"https:\/\/www.i8u.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/IIMG_1556.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"600\" border=\"0\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The food on the plane wasn\u2019t awful, and I watched Mercy (pretty bad), No Other Choice (turned into a black comedy after all), Shutter Island, the rest of the episodes of High Potential, and a bunch of Point Break.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\" title=\"IMG_1558.jpeg\" src=\"https:\/\/www.i8u.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/IIMG_1558.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" border=\"0\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Pretty uneventful wait in the Seattle Delta lounge and a quick trip down to Portland.<\/p>\n<p>And that\u2019s it for this year!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Got up a little early to hit the onsen and then get breakfast from the buffet.
