I wonder if I’m getting sick too?

I’m feeling awfully tired right now. More than I ought to. My mom was saying she was feeling achy, too. Yeesh.

So today I rewired one whole outlet and one light switch. The outlet was a mystery, some sort of daisy-chained nightmare, so I had to just put it back the way it was with new outlet and a new cover since the old ones were kind of crap. I also cleared out a closet and pulled out the shelves which required the use of my new saw. I also started mudding some of the walls to prep them for painting. I went to the plumbing supply but they just wanted to argue with me rather than look for my parts, and I went to the ATM to deposit a check.

Even after doing all that I only had ONE THING I could check off my to-do list. Sheesh. Well, I did watch two football games, NCIS, NCIS: LA, CSI, Bones, Modern Family, and Cougartown and that may have been why I didn’t get more done. What do you expect on a rainy Sunday?

Some friends.

After our middling burger club trip to Meriwether’s, I went to Five Guys Burger and Fries. It’s a very good fast food burger and I’m still going to say that I still like In-N-Out better but it gets to the point of being a Pepsi vs. Coke debate. They’re both good and people have their opinions.

In any case, the Five Guys burger I had for lunch on Friday was good enough that it put the expensive and middling Meriwether’s burger into perspective for me, so I got several of the burger club core to head out to Beaverton for lunch. Unfortunately, one of the guys knows he can use peer pressure to make me eat more than I should. I had a regular cheeseburger, which is two patties, and fries which made me quite full, but then he bought me a second “little” cheeseburger which is the same thing but with only one patty. I thought I was going to be sick in the middle, but I powered through. I recall there was research saying that you get fatter if you have fat friends. I think you get fatter if you have friends that make you eat extra Five Guys cheeseburgers.

Lots more football to watch, and I watched episodes of Fringe and Castle tonight too. I still have several more shows to watch before I’m caught up. Whoopee!
