Computers do suck, don’t they?

For some reason I turned on the computer in my bedroom that I use to log my ham radio contacts. Of course, since I hadn’t turned it on for a month or more, there were tons of updates. Do you know it took me a couple of hours just to get rid of a mystery partion on the disk? It didn’t help that the computer was slow. I did end up turning on my radio and talked to a guy in Brooklyn. Sure, it would have been easier to email him, but this is more fun for me somehow.

Anyway, yesterday was updating computers as well. In other words, nothing much interesting to discuss.

Oh, I remember the odd thing I did at the gym. They got new clocks. The one that I look at most often has the day of the week and date, and since they got it a couple of weeks ago it’s been wrong. It finally bothered me so much that I took it down and figured out how to adjust it. I sure hope it’s right when I go in next time, or I’ll have to take it down again. More proof that I’m an engineer.
