An auspicious start to the day.

The sun woke me up around 5:30AM, just in time for me to get a spectacular charley horse in my right calf. I decided to go to the bathroom as long as I was awake, with no plans but going back to sleep until my alarm went off at 7AM. But as soon as I got up I noticed that my head was spinning and there was a rock where my stomach should be. OK, not a rock, since rocks probably don’t hurt. I was supposed to be in at work at 9AM but I slept in.

I did end of trying to do some work from home but, really, what I did was find out that there’s a lot of useless crap in the directory I was trying to download and we need to get rid of some of it before it’s useful to anyone.

Anyway, I waited most of the day for files to transfer. I think I must be feeling better because my head stopped feeling like it was full of helium around lunchtime and at 4PM I took a break from staring at the computer to clean the gutters. There was a huge downpour and I noticed that a lot of water was splashing onto the windows rather than down the downspout. You can imagine how much fun it is to clean out gutters that are filled with mud, leaves, and water.

I think not falling off the ladder was an accomplishment and proved to me that I must be feeling better.
